Request fruit
Abundance Edinburgh collect large quantities of fruit throughout the summer, and we’re always interested to hear from charitable and community groups that might be able to put the fruit to good use. At present most of the fruit we collect goes into making preserves and redistributing at Apple days in Edinburgh, in the future we’d like to pair each fruit tree with a nearby organisation as a way of fostering community links

We are planning a open day for the Calder’s Community Garden and although we have the loan of an apple press and have a few apple trees we are without fruit, it’s a shame it’s not Autumn! Do you have any stored away that need to be used up or know anyone who does?
